Funcom's Making New Game

Norsk Filminstitut provide funds of USD260, 000 on Funcom to develop a new online game called On the Edge of the World. Money is the first funding of the total funds needed for the manufacture of this game is $ 1, 059,000.

On the Edge of the World is planned to become a snowboarding MMO game free-to-play. Winter sports MMO will be made for PC and Mac. This game is planned to come out in December 2010 and the title of this game still has a chance to change. The only information about this game is that this game shows online competition, access to social networking, and integration of trans-media. Party developers hope that this game can be used to promote sports, winter sports in Norway, starting with snowboarding.
